What the analyzer checks

Score a title and you get an overall rating, three sub-scores, a note on the words doing the most work, and two rewritten versions.

Relevance

Whether the title matches the topic underneath it. A headline that oversells what the piece delivers loses the reader in the first paragraph and costs you the return visit.

Engagement

Whether anyone has a reason to click. Numbers, specificity and a clear promise all move this score. Vague and clever move it down.

SEO

Keyword placement and length. Search engines rewrite titles they judge too long or too thin, so this score flags a title likely to be replaced in results.

Word by word

The two or three words carrying the title, and what each one is doing. Useful when a headline scores well but you cannot tell which part is working.

Two rewrites

Every evaluation ends with two alternative titles built from your topic. Run them back through to see the score move.

Format aware

A YouTube title and a sermon title are graded against different standards. Pick the format and the scoring changes with it.

How it works

Three steps, about fifteen seconds. Most people run four or five versions back to back and watch the score move.

STEP 1

Choose your format

Blog, video, podcast, book, sermon, email, ad or social. The format decides which scoring rules apply.

STEP 2

Paste the title and topic

The topic is optional. Leave it blank and the analyzer infers it from the title.

STEP 3

Read the score, then rewrite

Apply the notes or take one of the two rewrites, run it again, and compare.

Questions

Is Evaluate My Title free?

Yes. You get 5 evaluations without an account and 20 a month once you register, at no cost. Paid plans start at $2.99 a month if you need more than that. Ads and paid plans cover the cost of running the models, which is what keeps the free tier free.

What does the score mean?

An overall rating with one sentence explaining it, plus three sub-scores. Blog, YouTube, podcast and book titles are scored out of 100 on relevance, engagement and SEO. Sermon titles are scored out of 10 on biblical relevance, engagement and memorability.

What is a token?

One token is one evaluation. Nothing else consumes them, and unused tokens do not carry into the next month.

Does it write titles for me?

Every evaluation ends with two rewritten versions of your title based on the topic you gave it. You can score those too.

Whose AI is behind it?

Carpathian AI, running our own models on our own hardware. Your titles are not sent to a third-party API.

How long should a title be?

It depends on where it appears, and search results, video thumbnails and inboxes all cut at different points. We wrote up the numbers per platform in the ideal title length guide.
