What this covers

This policy applies to evaluatemytitle.com. The service is operated by Carpathian. If anything here is unclear, email info@carpathian.ai and we will explain it.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, username, email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself. We also keep your plan and monthly usage, any messages you send us through the contact form or the feedback buttons, and notes and account status (for example a suspension) recorded by our staff.

When you run an evaluation we store the full text you submit and the result we return, along with the format and the time. This is your run history, and each run also counts toward your plan allowance.

We also keep a history of what you do on the site, such as pages visited, sign-ins, evaluations, plan changes and messages sent. With it we record the time, your IP address, your browser, your approximate location, and session and request identifiers.

If you use the site without an account, our session cookie holds a guest identifier made from your IP address and browser. Your evaluations and activity history are linked to that identifier.

What we do with it

We use it to provide the service and your run history, handle billing, answer your support messages, check the quality of results, and keep the service secure and free of abuse. Our staff can review your submissions and activity for these purposes, and can restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break the terms of service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where it is needed to run the service or where the law requires it.

We keep your activity history for 365 days, then delete it automatically. Your run history is kept until your account is erased. Runs you delete disappear from your history straight away, and their text and results are removed when your account is erased. Account details and messages are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show ads that help keep the free tier free. Both run under Google's own privacy policy. The cookie banner lets you decline, and your choice is stored in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information at any time. Email info@carpathian.ai from the address on your account and we will handle your request within 30 days.

When we delete your information we cancel any subscription, remove your name, email address, submissions, results, stored messages and activity history, and remove your IP address, browser and location from our access records. We keep only anonymous records, such as how many runs the account made and a note that it was erased. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top.
